Federation has “its hands” into many areas in our Pittsburgh community. One where we are playing an important role is with the Eradicate Hate Global Summit scheduled to take place in Pittsburgh from October 18th-20th. Our responsibilities, largely hidden from public view, have been on the administrative side, serving as the fiscal agent for this groundbreaking gathering. It has resulted in a good amount of work for our staff, but we feel honored to be supporting the volunteers putting this all together.

Our Jewish community experienced what can occur when hatred is taken to its worst potential end point. While we at the Federation continue to address the security needs in our community, there is so much more we can do and learn.
