Community Invited to Interfaith Vigil, 5 p.m. Sunday, October 28

The entire Pittsburgh community will gather for an interfaith vigil and gathering at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood at 5 p.m.

“At this time of grief, coming together as a community offers us some comfort and solace. We hope that being together will strengthen our bonds at this difficult time,” said Jeffrey Finkelstein, CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh.

This official event is in partnership with synagogues in Pittsburgh as well as with many Jewish agencies in the area. All are invited to attend.

Doors will open at 3 p.m., and parking in the lot underneath the memorial will be free.

We will continue to update the community as new information emerges. Please visit jewishpgh.org or www.facebook.com/jfedpgh/ for developments and information.
