I am writing a very brief message this week. Our Federation Treasurer, Gil Schneider and I will be landing on Monday morning in Gondar, Ethiopia. After an overnight in Gondar, we will travel for an overnight in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In both cities, we will learn about the history of the Ethiopian Jewish community, their struggles, and their desire to eventually make their homes in Israel. We will then fly to Israel with a group of new immigrants from Ethiopia. You can be part of our arrival in Israel when it is livestreamed on Wednesday, September 14 at 11:45 pm EDT.
