Federation's Jewish Community Foundation manages almost half a billion dollars for our community.

But behind that number are thousands of people, families and organizations who trust us with their giving. We help them turn their values into lasting impact, in the Jewish community and beyond.

It starts with trust. More than 1,500 people have opened their own giving account with us. Many of them through a donor-advised fund, and you can start one with as little as $5,000 or $2,500 for a young adult.

Your gift may qualify for an immediate charitable income tax deduction. Then you can recommend grants to any IRS-qualified charity, Jewish or non-Jewish, whenever you choose.

It's personal. You'll work with professionals who know you and understand your charitable goals. We're here with thoughtful guidance when you need it. Our service is built on longstanding relationships with individuals, families and our broader community.

It lasts for generations. A Legacy Fund makes your gift to Federation’s Community Campaign permanent. Forever Lions is a Legacy Fund designed for Lion-level donors: a planned gift of at least $100,000 keeps your annual gift of $5,000 or more going every year.

It stays local. Our work goes beyond managing charitable funds. In 2026, we reinvested more than $1 million in our community through 34 grants to 20 organizations from a discretionary pool directed by community volunteers.
