As antisemitic incidents continue to rise globally, the need for enhanced security measures is greater than ever. With the introduction of Virtual Block Watch and the BluePoint security system, Jewish Pittsburgh homes and facilities benefit from improved methods of reporting all kinds of attacks.

The Next Level of Security

However, an increase in vehicle-based incidents has sparked a new initiative: License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology. In the heart of our beloved Jewish Pittsburgh community, a remarkable partnership has blossomed, reaffirming our shared commitment to safety and security.

Recently, the PEACE Initiative, a nonprofit organization focused on combating the rise of hate in America, contributed $50,000 toward the groundbreaking LPR technology to enhance community security and safeguard the people of Pittsburgh. This incredible investment speaks volumes, not only about protecting physical spaces but about creating peace of mind. It reflects a shared commitment to a future where all of us feel secure walking into Shabbat services, picking up our children from day school and gathering for simchas and moments of remembrance.
