Every book we send brings Jewish traditions and history to life through values like kindness, generosity (Tzedakah), caring for others and honoring our elders. These stories help children understand what it means to be part of a Jewish community, no matter how each family practices or celebrates. By reading together, families pass on more than just stories; they pass on a shared sense of identity.

At the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, we believe that helping children grow up with strong Jewish values is one of the best ways to build a vibrant Jewish future. That’s why we proudly support PJ Library, because it connects children to their Jewish roots in joyful, meaningful ways. Every month, PJ Library sends free Jewish books to families around the world, including right here in Pittsburgh.

Because of your support, PJ Library is more than a book program; it’s a doorway to meaningful conversations, cherished traditions and a strong Jewish identity that children carry with them as they grow. Families in our community are empowered to raise proud and connected Jewish children—one story at a time.
