For many families, the cost of Jewish education can be a barrier. Through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program, the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh is ensuring more children experience Jewish learning, connection and community regardless of financial circumstances.

This year, Federation secured more than $3.29 million in EITC funding, supporting 608 students across Greater Pittsburgh:

• 477 K–12 students attending Community Day School, Hillel Academy and Yeshiva Schools.
• 131 Pre-K students across nine Jewish early childhood centers.

By reducing tuition costs for families, EITC helps open doors to Jewish education at every stage of childhood while strengthening the future of Jewish Pittsburgh.
