Violence has affected countless innocent people, causing fear, anxiety and trauma. The situation has also led to a humanitarian crisis, with many people in urgent need of assistance. In times of crisis, it's more important than ever to come together and support those in need. At the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, we believe that everyone should receive the fundamental care necessary to survive after a crisis. That's why we work tirelessly to help our partners on the ground provide lifeline services including food, clothing, financial assistance and medicines to those who have been affected by the crisis in Israel.

In the region of Eilat, hotels were being transformed into refugee housing for upwards of 60,000 displaced Israeli residents. Through our partners on the ground, people like Iris Cohen, the Eilat community center network manager, are working hard to help those displaced gain access to donations of clothing, as well as other essential items. We understand the critical role that our partners play in providing aid and support to those affected by the crisis in Israel. Hear about the assistance Iris and others provide in the video below.
