The attack on Israel by Hamas has created a heightened threat tempo for our domestic Jewish organizations. There are no known specific threats to our community at this time.

While there are no known threats to the Pittsburgh Jewish community, there are two legitimate media reports to be aware of.

Law enforcement cautions that hoax bomb threats and swatting incidents targeting Jewish organizations across the country will continue throughout Yom Kippur.

There have now been 49 synagogues in 13 states evacuated due to hoax bomb threats in the past two months.
