Together, We Are Strengthening Jewish Life at Every Stage

Our Federation Board recently awarded more than $1 million in grants across three critical priorities: addressing antisemitism, engaging young adults and supporting teen mental health. These investments reflect both urgency and optimism—meeting today’s challenges while building a more connected, confident community for tomorrow.

Addressing Antisemitism

At a time of rising antisemitism, your support is helping us respond with education, relationship-building and empowerment. We are investing in proven programs and innovative approaches that reach students, educators and the broader community:

  • Expanding classroom-based initiatives like Student to Student, which fosters understanding through personal storytelling.
  • Strengthening community-based efforts in rural areas, including a groundbreaking partnership in Butler County.
  • Supporting teen leadership development and campus engagement, equipping young people to respond to antisemitism with knowledge and confidence.
  • Leveraging creative platforms—like film and dialogue—to reach wider audiences beyond the Jewish community.

These grants prioritize both depth and reach, ensuring we are building allies while empowering Jewish voices.

Engaging Young Adults

Young adulthood is a pivotal moment for identity, connection, and belonging. Your investment supports a wide ecosystem of programs that meet people where they are and invite them into Jewish life:

  • Welcoming students from their first days on campus through programs like FreshFest and Shabbat experiences.
  • Creating meaningful, peer-led Jewish experiences through initiatives like OneTable and Moishe House.
  • Supporting young families, graduate students and unaffiliated adults across diverse neighborhoods and stages of life.
  • Piloting innovative programs that connect Jewish identity with history, service, the arts and leadership development.

Across these efforts, we are not just reaching individuals—we are building a pipeline of engaged participants and future leaders.

Supporting Teen Mental Health

We know that today’s teens are facing unprecedented challenges. Through your support, we are expanding access to high-quality, culturally grounded mental health care and wellness programming:

  • Bringing clinical services directly into schools through trusted partners like Jewish Family and Community Services.
  • Creating innovative programs that combine mentorship, arts and Jewish learning to build resilience.
  • Reaching diverse populations, including those in youth groups, schools and specialized settings, with tools for emotional wellbeing and growth.
  • These investments reflect a deep commitment to ensuring that every young person feels supported, seen and connected.

What stands out across all of this work is collaboration. Many of these programs are intentionally connected—organizations working together, sharing resources and amplifying impact. This is your community in action.

We are also proud to support established organizations with proven track records and new ideas that push us forward, balancing accountability with innovation.

None of this would be possible without you. Your generosity fuels programs that educate, connect and care for our community at every stage of life.

Together, we are responding to today’s challenges—and building a stronger Jewish future.

Shabbat Shalom.
