I am writing this message sitting at Ben Gurion airport awaiting my return flight to the states following a whirlwind experience as part of a Jewish Federations of North America Solidarity Mission.

Working in partnership with our volunteer leaders has been and continues to be one of the greatest blessings I have experienced in this work.

Fighting antisemitism and hardening Jewish facilities are both about the safety of our Jewish community.

Join me at 6 PM on Tuesday in downtown Pittsburgh at the City-County Building to stand b’yachad, together, in solidarity against antisemitism.

Our ability to do so much good in the community is only possible if the Federation is operating well.

Today the dreams of 280 Ethiopian olim joined the amazing kibbutz Galuyot that is the State of Israel and fulfilled their dreams of returning to their historic homeland.

While none of us is immortal, our names reflecting our good deeds can be.

“When the month of Adar enters, we increase in joy.” 2021? Happy? Joyful?

A virtual mission to Washington, DC, Snowbird event in sunny Florida and a real MEGA MISSION to Israel are on the horizon.

We find ourselves in a time where we need to be dealing with the emergent issues of today while still thinking about our future.

I must share an unbelievable story from this past week that is more personal than I usually get in my messages.
