Roi Mezare, Associate Director, Major Gifts at the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, has just become a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP).

The CAP designation demonstrates that advisors have the ability, knowledge and tools to help clients reach their philanthropic goals, for themselves, their families, and their communities. As a chartered advisor, Mr. Mezare is prepared to integrate gift planning with estate planning, succession planning and investment advisory services. People who earn their CAP designation are fully equipped to help wealthy families plan their legacies.

The American College of Financial Services awards the CAP designation, which requires graduate-level courses in philanthropic advising.

Mr. Mezare has worked for the Jewish Federation for 14 years. He lives in Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood with his wife and two children.
